Ty-Pak® provides a 20% lower pressure drop when compared to saddles. The unique engineered shape prevents channeling, permits faster loading, and reduces settling, which provides for consistent performance over time. This shaped media also maintains high heat exchange efficiency for a more economical cost overall when all factors are considered.
Ty-Pak® heat transfer media is available in a variety of formulations:
- Proware™: our standard RTO media formulation
- Alkaware®: a technologically advanced formulation for units needing greater thermal shock and alkali corrosion resistance
- Pharmaware™: a formulation specifically designed to withstand chloro- and fluorohydrocarbon species up to 1200oC
