Saint-Gobain NorPro -- Process Ceramics

The Process Ceramics business unit of Saint-Gobain NorPro encompasses the organization's worldwide activities in mass transfer, heat transfer and support media products for the refining, chemical, petrochemical, and environmental markets.
Our Denstone® brand of support media is the industry's most recognized media used for fixed catalyst bed applications. We have developed and manufactured more ceramic heat and mass transfer media than any other company in the world. In fact, we were the first company to supply media, NortonTM ProwareTM saddles, for regenerative thermal oxidizers (RTO).
Leaders in Ceramic Science and Engineering
Ceramics possess superlative corrosion resistance, high strength at elevated temperature, and excellent resistance to wear. However, not all ceramics are created equal. While the unique properties of technical ceramics make them ideal candidates for applications where other materials would fail, these same characteristics make processing of reliable parts problematic. Without the proper expertise, manufacturing capabilities, and quality focus, the failure rate of ceramics would be unacceptably high for critical processes such as those found in our end-markets.
The Process Ceramics Group of Saint-Gobain NorPro possesses the requisite expertise in the critical areas of material selection, design and manufacturing a combination of skills which is unique in the industry. Coupled with our applications knowledge and R&D resources, our understanding of ceramics allows us to design an optimal solution to your problem.
Furthermore, technical ceramics is all we do. Our engineering resources and state-of-the art manufacturing facilities are dedicated solely to providing advanced engineering solutions to you, the technical customer - no flowerpots or garden ceramics here.
Whatever your application for Process Ceramics, Saint-Gobain NorPro leads the way.
